It’s been the dog days of Summer, by which I mean I’ve been taking the dogs to the beach a lot.

Despite that, another page in my eternal project, the “Mercy is Just My Name” illustrated novel, has appeared. Here we see a cursed carnival and a caged wolf boy.

Any suggestions or critiques are always welcome. However, If you think the piece is a little overworked, that complaint line is particularly long and forms behind me.

“Mercy” is supernatural, steampunk western, and this illustrates my first short story concerning a house of mirrors. Yes, an ancient trope, but hopefully, I breathed enough life (or undead energy) into the tale to make it serviceable.

As usual, it was created in Clip Studio Paint, Corel Painter, and Cinema 4D in a digital, colored, modified scratchboard technique.
